Born in London in 1924, June Miles spent the first six years of her life on an island near Hong Kong. She studied at The Slade and during the war drew maps in an Admiralty Drawing Office. She has exhibited widely including at David Messum Gallery in London and now lives in West Cornwall with her husband, the sculptor Paul Mount.
