Born in Plymouth in 1977, Myles Oxenford paints full time from his studio in Falmouth where he has remained since graduating from Falmouth College of Art in 2000. He has exhibited widely throughout Cornwall and also enjoyed two successful solo exhibitions at prestigious gallery Thompsons in Marylebone and in ‘The Discerning Eye’ annual exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London. He is a keen traveller and returns often to paint in South Africa, Wales, Scotland and the Swiss Alps. Alongside his ongoing landscape work where he paints primarily outside to capture light and movement, he has also been producing still lives in the studio which explore his ongoing fascination with colour and composition.
